This is a great hot bean dip recipe that we got from our longtime friend Kara. We have enjoyed it for many, many years!
15 oz can re-fried beans
4 oz cream cheese, softened
12 oz sour cream
1/2 bunch green onions, chopped
12 oz salsa
1 packet taco seasoning
1/2 can diced green chili’s
1 c grated cheddar cheese
Blend all ingredients except cheddar. Pour into 9 x 9 pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. (Not sure why it has to bake that long!)
Sprinkle the cheese on top for the last 5 minutes.
Can easily be doubled using a 9 x 13 pan.
Serve with Frito’s or tortilla chips.
