Cherry Delight

Crust

  • 8 T melted butter 
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs  

Mix together and press into 9 x 13 pan.  Bake at 10 minutes at 350 degrees.  Do not overcook.  Cool thoroughly. 

Layer 1

  • 1 heaping cup powdered sugar
  • 2 T milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

Beat with mixer until creamy and smooth.  Spread over cooled crust.  (This is a little tricky as the crumbs want to stick to the cream cheese “goo”.  Just be patient and don’t worry if it gets a little mixed together, it will still taste great!)

Layer 2

  •  1 c chopped pecans. 

Sprinkle over 1st layer.

Layer 3

  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Spread over nuts.   (Or try blueberry pie filling!)

Layer 4

  •  8 oz carton of Cool Whip

Spread over cherry layer.

Refrigerate and enjoy!!
